Childsafe
Behind all the fun Child-Safe hopes to help remove the anxiety of shopping with small children by helping reunite families that have been separated.
Machines dispensing colourful wristbands are installed at various locations within the centre. The parent or guardian can write their contact number onto the wristband which the child wears. Children will be advised to look out for the Child-Safe logo and to go to one of these should they get lost.
The free, high quality wrist bands can be used in any other venues where the Child-Safe scheme is in operation. As well as helping to reunite lost children the helpline number allows members of the public to report any incident, antisocial behaviour or graffiti in the Croydon area, if they are worried about intervening themselves.
Look out for the Child Safe signs and visit Centrale’s wristband and leaflet dispensers located on car park levels 1/2/3 and near the public toilets.
