Centrale – bringing people together!

2009 brings with it a whole new schedule of events, which includes a raft of both established and new initiatives for the year. Saturday 31^st of January will see Centrale play host to its annual Debenhams Wedding Fair, where the lucky couples can start to indulge in the organisation of their big day.

Whether it is flowers, balloons or cakes, photography or invitations The Wedding Fair will have everything needed for our customers to kick off their wedding plans. On the day, Debenhams will be giving everyone who registers with their wedding gift service a free bottle of bubbly and a goody bag. The event will also launch Debenhams’ new interactive gift card with a free money giveaway.

For the fifth year in a row, Centrale will be welcoming a number of budding young entrepreneurs through its doors for the Young Enterprise Trade Fair: Saturday 7^th February. Several teams will have the chance to showcase their ideas or services to the public which will then be judged by our expert retail panel. The participants will all be presented with a certificate from the Mayor on the day.

Later on in the month and back to romance, Centrale will be working with its retailers to provide an intimate atmosphere for its shoppers on Valentines Day (Saturday the 14^th of February). Harp music will be played into the centre to accompany the romantic gesture of free flowers for shoppers.

The rest of the year will continue to see more events for our customers and marketing support for Centrale’s retailers – maintaining the unique upbeat atmosphere that our shopping centre is famous for.
