Meryl Streep’s Golden Globe Award Nails

Golden Globe Award Nails By manicurist and entrepreneur Deborah Lippmann

Meryl Streep, who won Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in The Iron Lady, was trophy-pose ready thanks to celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann at this year’s Golden Globe Awards. Meryl wore Naked, a bare beige, on her finger nails, and Fashion, a not-so-typical taupe, on her toes.  Her black dress with nude lace created a chic focal point, so the nails, which are longer to align with the role, have one coat of Naked and are finished with Addicted to Speed top coat for a very simple, soft and feminine look.

Deborah created very modern, clean looks for the actresses she worked with at the Globes (she also prepped Kate Winslet on the night) “We always consider what the nail will look like on the trophy – we want the trophy to be the star, not the nails” she comments.

Fashion and Naked – £14.00 each
Addicted to Speed, ultra quick-dry top coat – £14.50
